In comparison motherboards generally offer a lower cost alternative at the expense of slots and continuity, hence they are generally suited for applications where the latest processing technologies are required, at the keenest price.
The Kontron UK server range offers base platforms ranging from 1U through to 6U and has a variety of options for fault tolerance and storage.
