Thanks to all the vendors and delegates who helped make this years events in London and Bristol so special. The feedback has been very positive and we are now looking forward the 2009 events, which we expect will be bigger and better still. Over 200 engineers registered this year. If you want to be sure you get an invite for 2009, please send us your details - info@embedded-masterclass.com and we'll keep you posted.

In the meantime - please be aware that the National Institute of Microelectronics will be running an embedded seminar Debugging Embedded is Hard! on Tuesday 24th June 2008 - click here for details.

Thanks again - Richard Blackburn, Energi (organiser)

Feedback from previous Embedded Masterclass seminars :

"Useful, clear and well presented."

"..interesting and varied presentations..."

" Very good... highly informative.."

" It was well organised, focused and a very useful event "

" Generally excellent "

About the Embedded Masterclass...
The object of the Embedded Masterclass has always been to provide a 'non-sales' forum where embedded systems engineers can come along and meet a broad range of industry experts from key vendors and learn about what is happening at the leading edge of embedded microprocessor, DSP and FPGA technology.

What makes it special...
The Embedded Masterclass presentations are technical presentations. So don't expect to endure endless sales pitches about market share, time to market or number of employees. The presentations will be about the technology - information you can use to help you make future development decisions.

Who will be there...
We try to bring together a range of vendors who are actively supplying the embedded systems market. More importantly, we ask them to send their engineers rather than their sales people, so that you can experience real demonstrations of their embedded technology and get technical answers to your questions.

Will it be worth my while ?
The feedback has always been very positive. Chances are that at the very least you'll learn about some interesting new embedded systems technology. It may even be that you'll find a vendor who might very well help you solve a pressing problem. Some of the embedded technology you'll see at this next event comes all the way from the US, Germany and Canada, so it will also be a good chance to learn about a range of new technologies in a single location. In addition to this we will have some expert local services such as writers of device drivers, surfacemount and BGA pcb assembly experts and even a company specialising in enclosure design and manufacture for the technology sector. More about who'll be there exhibiting embedded systems technology...

How do I register and how much does it cost ?
To register, you simply need to click the button at the top of the page and fill in your details. If you are an embedded engineer or a manager in a technology company, then there is no cost. The cost of the event is jointly funded by the various sponsors. We will then send you details about the day/location etcnearer the time of the event.

Feabhas launches innovative graduate scheme for embedded systems engineers
Feabhas FastTrack, launched for 2008, is a 9 week accelerated programme, enabling graduates to rapidly gain the practical and theoretical skills needed for productivity in the modern embedded environment.

A well rounded understanding which extends beyond purely tool-based knowledge is a prerequisite for any embedded systems engineer but currently there are few opportunities for graduates to gain this important foundation knowledge either at university or via vendor training providers. As a result most graduates learn this information gradually and piecemeal through trial and improvement.

Feabhas FastTrack has been designed to address this skills shortage and directly improve quality, save time and costs and increase speed of product to market for graduate employers. More...
